As the Czarnowski Dayton office grew, we were provided an empty, unfinished space with which to create a new office. Basing the aesthetic on the Czarnowski brand and on other established Czarnowski offices, the space was a perfect avenue to reflect the company's culture. While there were a few limitations based on landlord requirements, the design, materials, and furniture started as a blank page. Careful consideration was given to inter-office workflow, storage, lighting, and material selection.
Electrolux needed several kitchen and laundry concepts for in-store vignettes, trade shows, and for other marketing purposes. Occasionally working with their team of designers, as well as developing designs from square one, each concept was designed with Electrolux product in mind. Equally important was the time spent on cabinet specifications, construction methods, and well as material selection.
A preliminary ideation of an on-campus training room and safety center. The goal was to design a room that contained a full complement of training equipment, a seminar theater, as well as a diverse product lineup with relevant educational messaging components.
The area was a pre-existing space, and the need to demonstrate fire safety equipment required a large mezzanine structure that can accommodate various climbing and scaling equipment. With space at a premium, the seminar theater area was incorporated into the mezzanine for maximum use of the square footage. In order to build a theatrical quality into the training, LED multimedia was incorporated into the walls. This provided an avenue to drive home messaging while creating a memorable learning experience.
